I enjoy being in a poetry class even more, though! Really fun!

Aren’t English classes wonderful?? :)

- Bring in to class a snippet of dialogue that you overhear or have overheard in the past.

Write one leaf about something you will not eat.

OKAY:

Little white bulging eyeball-like blobs of fishy grossness.  The most sought after part of every seafood scampi plate.  The keynote speaker at the fancy food fish convention.  Not your average fish n’ chips.  Somehow these things deserve their own special spot on the menus of downtown’s most upscale eateries.  They’re grilled with lemon juice and wrapped up in bacon.  What a sin: to sully the reputation of bacon in such a way.  I had tried them so many times.  My mom says to me, when we’re out to eat one time, “These are the best! The best ones I’ve ever had…you have to try these.  If you don’t like these ones, you won’t ever like any.”  They were the worst I ever tried.  So, thankfully, I was off the hook.  I will not eat scallops.

The End

Goal for this week: Buy a writing journal.  Write every day!
